Post office passport service center in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan MP Santosh Ahlawat inaugurated

WThe Joint District Office of the Department of Posts and the Ministry of External Affairs in Jhunjhunu started the much-awaited post office passport service center on April 2, 2017. It was inaugurated at the office of Rail Postal Service, Mrs. Santosh Ahlawat, MP from Jhunjhunu, in the presence of Director, Postal Services, Rajasthan Western Region, Jodhpur in the presence of Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav and Regional Passport Officer, Jaipur Mr. Vivek Jeff.

Addressing the inauguration program, MP Mrs. Santosh Ahlawat said that the Central Government has given Jhunjhunu as a passport service center in the historical context. After this center has started, passports of citizens of Jhunjhunu and Churu will be made here, people will not have to go to Sikar. After online application, the facility will be provided to the applicant at the post office passport service center for fingerprint, photo and document verification. The applicants will be issued soon after the police verification by the Speed Post to the address given by them.
