Recommended changes in Rule 3 - A of the Gramin Dak Sevaks (Conduct & Engagement ) Rules , 2011 - GDS Pay Committee

Recommended changes in Rule 3 - A of the Gramin Dak Sevaks (Conduct & Engagement ) Rules , 2011 - GDS Pay Committee

What will be the use to all GDS without amending the Rule 3- A (i) i.e. A Sevak shall not be required to perform duty beyond a maximum period of 5 hours in a day.

Now a days majority of the GDS performing their duty beyond 5 hours. In some of the Circles like Andhra Pradesh and Telangana all the GDSBPM 's are performing their duty from 10 to 14 hours.

India Post Payment Bank got final approval from Reserve Bank of India .Rural Information and Communication Technology is on pilot basis in 3 Circles. After implementation of these two Technologies in Branch Post Offices, what will be the fate of all GDS ? GDS Post Offices workload will be definitely more than 8 hours in all most all the Circles.

So , we must fight with the Government of India for providing 8 hours workload and minimum wages in the Department of Posts by amending the Rule 3 - A (i).

These GDS C&E Rules are not valid as per the Constitution of India.

These Rules have no legality. These are framed by the Administration for their convienience only.
