Pay Commission : Difference Between 7th Pay Commission and 6th Pay Commission Pay Scales and Pay Band
7th Pay Commission is the one of the main topics for the central government employees and state government employees of India. There was a lot of pay differences in 5th pay commission and 6th pay commission. This was happened in initial pay scale of central government employees, and state government employees. It is expected that, there is a difference between 7th Pay Commission and 6th Pay Commission Pay Scales and Pay Band for different posts of class I, class II, class III and class IV employees.

House Rent Allowances in 6th Pay Commission Vs 7th Pay Commission
In 6th Pay Commission, the Government of India was providing HRA at 10%, 20% and 30%. On the other hand, the Central Government offers HRA at 8%, 16%, and 24% in 7th Pay Commission all around the country.
Many state governments have implemented this HRA structure for their state employees.
Net Salary Increase or Decrease in 7th CPC Vs 6th CPC
Based on the recommendations and information available, 7th CPC increase is marginal or nothing good at all. The Government of India employees are receiving a little increase after the implementations of 7th Pay Commission.
Due to little increase or less than what they were receiving before the implementation of 7th CPC, a few organizations have already protested against the policy of the Government of India.
DA Allowances in 6th CPC Vs 7th CPC
The Central Government of India has zeroed DA after implementation of 7th CPC recommendations. Before 7th CPC, DA was stood at 125% and it became 0% after the implementations of 7th Central Pay Commission.
