India Post to re-launch SDJBG

India Post would be re-launching Sampoorna Dak Jeevan Bima Gram (SDJBG) Yojana from October 11, wherein initiative has been taken to adopt villages having a minimum of 100 households, with at least one Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) to be sold to each household to cover every family in that village with RPLI. 

A press note by superintendent of Postal Service stated that India Post celebrates national postal week every October, starting with world post day on October 9.

The following villages have been adopted by Nagaland division under Sampoorna Dak Jeevan Bima Gram (SDJBG) yojana: Lalmati, Kohima; Singrup, Kiphire; Moilan, Wokha; Wazhiho, Phek; Aoyimti, Dimapur;  Mhainamtsi, Peren; Tang, Mon; Salulumang, Mokokchung; Yongyah, Longleng; Saramati, Tuensang; and Aizuto, Zunheboto.
