Message from TCS Security Team - Ransomware Attack in Post Offices 2018 [Alert!!!]

As per today's Risk report it has been observed that approx. on 200 systems ransomware variant has been detected. On all the detected systems Symantec has cleaned/deleted the virus. 

Ensure the systems are compliant at field location and are running with higher version of SMB. If any system, which is non-complaint and infected with this ransomware variant then there is huge chances of losing the data.

Please ensure that Symantec AV is updated in all systems,  GUP servers are up to date wherever available and OS security patches are installed. Details of systems where AV is not installed or up to date is already shared. Pl take immediate necessary action on the same
