Clarification on digital transaction [RB DARPAN and Planning Division]

 

Clarification on digital transaction - Implementation of digital payment mechanism in DOP by converting all existing transactions in digital mode.

It is clarified that any transaction in which physical cash is involved cannot be construed as digital transaction irrespective of the type of device, software or application which is used to perform such transaction. However if, any transaction is being performed using the IPPB QR Code or any other system of online transaction that can be treated as digital transaction
