This is for information of all Postal Employees that Deptt of Post is in the list of essential services. Therefore Govt is not Reddy to close it fully. Advisory of Home Ministry can be seen.Directorate has issued very clear instructions to All CPMGs as how arrangements are to be made.No need to open all Post offices.Only HOs and MDGs and some bigger offices should be opened and skeletal staff means very few employees should be deployed. Some of the CPMGs have made arrangements like this.
We have put in our websites of NFPE and AIPEUnion Gr C , all letters written by us and all advisories of Home Ministry,Health Ministry,DOPT and Deptt of Post.
We have requested all Circle and Divisional Secretaries to go through all these advisories and instructions issued by above mentioned authorities of Govt of India and ask the concerned officers to implement the same.
I request one and all, Pl don't be panic.
Send application and message to authorities that according to Appeal of Prime minister,We can not cross Laxman Rekha in this total lockdown and Police is also not allowing, therefore unable to come to office. There is provision of SPL. Leave in such circumstances.
Therefore pl go through all advisories and instructions act accordingly.
Some of the employees are threatening that they will leave Union. For them I would like to tell that We have made all efforts and Deptt has also given so many instructions to lower officers. Now it is the duty of you people to get the same implemented, If your all grievances can be settled after quitting the union, you can take decision.
Further I appeal to all, have patience and tackle the situation wisely and tactfully in this period of crisis.
