Postman and India Post During Corona Crisis || कोरोना संकट में पोस्टमैन और भारतीय डाक

During the Corona Crisis, postmen and postal workers are rendering commendable services in the most complex and inaccessible areas of the country. During the lockdown, they are doing the work of delivering medicines and essential materials to the people, their most important work was in the financial matters in the meantime. The postal department made a transaction of 56.5 million rupees from 30 million accounts, while 45.5 lakh of Aadhaar enabled payment transactions made a payment of 851 crore rupees to the houses. Similarly, Rs 874 crore of DBT payment and 560 crore rupees from 54.5 lakh money orders were also distributed by the Department of Posts with the help of postmen and Gramin Dak Sevaks. A distribution of Rs 4231 crore was also made from India Post Payment Bank. The most efficient role played by the Aadhaar Enabled Payments System, which became a boon for the elderly, differently-abled and women living in inaccessible areas. India has the highest number of 1.55 lakh post offices in the world and has proved itself in crisis.

कोरोना संकट के दौरान पोस्टमैन और डाक कर्मचारी देश के सबसे जटिल और दुर्गम इलाकों में सराहनीय सेवाएं दे रहे हैं। लॉकडाउन के दौरान लोगों तक दवाएं और जरूरी सामग्रियां पहुंचाने का काम तो वे कर ही रहे हैं, उनका सबसे महत्वपूर्ण काम इस बीच में वित्तीय मामलों में रहा। डाक विभाग ने तीन करोड़ 60 लाख खातों से 56,500 करोड़ रुपए का ट्रांजेक्शन किया जबकि 45.5 लाख आधार इनेबुल्ड पेमेंट ट्राजेंक्शन से 851 करोड़ रुपए का भुगतान घरो पर जाकर किया। इसी तरह डीबीटी भुगतान का 874 करोड़ रुपए का और 54.5 लाख मनीआर्डरों से 560 करोड़ रुपए का वितरण भी डाक विभाग ने पोस्टमैन और ग्रामीण डाक सेवकों की मदद से घर घर जाकर किया। इंडिया पोस्ट पेमेंट बैंक से भी 4231 करोड़ रुपए का वितरण हुआ। इसमें सबसे कारगर भूमिका आधार इनेबल्ड पेमेंट्स सिस्टम ने निभायी, जो बुजुर्गों, दिव्यांगों और महिलाओं के साथ दुर्गम इलाको में रह रहे लोगों के लिए वरदान बना। दुनिया में सबसे अधिक 1.55 लाख डाकघर भारत में हैं और उन्होने संकट में खुद को साबित किया है
