The amount listed above is to be Paid to Registrar or to be collected from Customer. This is latest fee structure.

As per this OM, the amount of Rs.100/- including GST to be paid by UIDAI to Department of Posts for each and every new enrolment and mandatory biometric updation done in the Aadhaar enrolment center available in the Post Office.

Is it possible to update Demographic details such as Address, DOB, Name Change, Mobile/eMail ID changes along with biometric details?

Yes. As per latest OM supplied by the UIDAI, the demographic modification can be done alongwith biometric updations.

परिचय :-
इस डाकघर का नाम गिनीज़ बुक में विश्व के सबसे पुराने डाकघर के रूप में दर्ज है। जब यह डाकघर खुला था तो तब पोस्टमैन को रनर कहा जाता था जो अफसरों को पत्र और पार्सल वितरित करता था सन 1738 में इस डाकघर में पत्रों के वितरण के लिए घोड़ों का प्रयोग किया जाने लगा। इस डाकघर का नवीनीकरण 1974 में किया गया और इस डाकघर में स्टम्पिंग मशीने लगायी गईं।

वर्तमान में :-
व्यवसाय में हानि और अनियमतताओं की वजह से इस डाकघर को सेल के लिए रखा गया। यह डाकघर बिलकुल बंद ही बंद होने वाला था। फिर भी सन 2015 में नए पोस्टमॉस्टर मंज़ूर आलम ने इसको संभाला और इसकी मरम्मत की।नए पोस्टमॉस्टर की योजना इस डाकघर को पोस्टल म्यूजियम बनाने की है। अगर पोस्टल म्यूजियम खुला तो यह स्कॉटलैंड का प्रथम पोस्टल म्यूजियम होगा

1.Saving Account

There are three category in Saving Account

i)  Digital Savings Account  :: account can be opened instantly from home, which means banking anytime, anywhere.But KYC formalities can be done by visiting any of the access points or with the help of the GDS/Postman within 12 months from the date of opening. Account can be opened with ZERO balance.

ii)  Regular Savings Account :: Account can be opened at the bank’s access points and your doorstep. Account can be opened with ZERO balance. Interest rate of 2.75% p.a.  paid quarterly. No commitment of minimum balance and no monthly average balance required to be maintained.

iii) Basic Savings Account :: All features of Regular account apply to Basic account except in limit of withdrawals. Basic Saving Account allows only four withdrawal in a month.  

2. Current Account

It offer the facility to small merchants/ kirana stores and individual businessmen. The current account can be opened at the Post Office Counters or at your doorstep through our Postman/GDS with ZERO balance. Nominal monthly average balance required to be maintained. Unlimited cash deposits and withdrawals. There is scheduled charges for transactions.

 10 NEW CITIZEN ENHANCEMENT THROUGH CUSTOMER PORTAL


1. Now citizen can pay premium for multiple policies together

2. Now citizen can submit the full proposal form including supporting document online. (Earlier he has to come to post office for depositing supporting doc). This will also reduce digitisation at CPC.

3. Premium Paid certificate for Income tax can now be downloaded from portal itself.

4. Customers can now merge their Customer IDs for all type of policies into one, so that to keep only one login for all policies.

5. The Online form has been simplified for citizen. Monthly expenditure, income e.t.c. have been removed from the form.

6. Now Transgenders can also submit the PLI form from customer portal, there is specific category now available as 'Others'.

7. A new enhancement has also been brought in whereby customer get to see the nearest Head Post office while submitting the form and entering the PINCODE.

8. Now customer can lodge a complaint from within the portal itself.

9. All RTI information are now available from within the portal itself.

Filing of Income Tax Returns

Will the Minister of  FINANCE be pleased to state:-

(a) whether it is true that due to pandemic condition, the Government proposes to give relaxation in submitting tax returns by the tax payers;

(b) if so, the details thereof along with the manner in which the Government prepares schedule for it;

(c) whether the said relaxation is for individual as well as for company level; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a), (b), (c) and (d): In view of the pandemic and considering the challenges faced by taxpayers in meeting their statutory compliances, the Central Government has vide the Taxation and Other Laws (Relaxation of Certain Provisions) Ordinance, 2020, the Taxation and Other Laws (Relaxation and Amendment of Certain Provisions) Act, 2020, notifications issued under the said Act from time to time and order issued under section 119 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (Income-tax Act) inter alia extended the due dates / last date for filing of income tax returns for the financial years 2019-20 and 2018-19.

Under the Income-tax Act, the due date for filing for return for the financial year (FY) 2019-20 in case of assesses (including individuals) whose accounts are not required to be audited under the Income-tax Act / any other law (non-auditable cases), is 31st July, 2020. Due date for filing of return in case of companies and other assesses (including individuals) whose accounts are required to be audited under the Income-tax Act / any other law (auditable cases) is 31st October, 2020. Similarly, due date in case of assessees (including individuals and companies) who are required to furnish a report pertaining to international / specified domestic transactions under section 92E of the Income-tax Act (section 92E cases) is 30th November, 2020.

However, for the aforesaid reasons, on 24th June, 2020, the due date for filing of return for the FY 2019-20 was initially extended for all assesses to 30th November, 2020. Later, on 29th October, 2020, the due date was further extended to 31st January, 2021 for company /auditable / section 92E cases and 31st December, 2020 for non-auditable and non-company cases. Subsequently, on 31st December, 2020, the due date was further extended to 15th February, 2021 for company/ auditable / section 92E cases and 10th January, 2021 for non-auditable and non-company cases.

As regards returns for FY 2018-19, the last date for filing was 31st March, 2020. However, for the aforesaid reasons, on 31st March, 2020, the last date was initially extended to 30th June, 2020. Later, on 24th June, 2020, the last date was further extended to 31st July, 2020. Subsequently, on 29th July, 2020, the last date was further extended to 30th September, 2020. Again, on 30th September, 2020, the last date was further extended to 30th November, 2020.

Sub: Initial/ Continued grant of HRA to staffs working in Departmental offices under the provisions of Para 3(b)(iii) of O.M. No. F. 2(37)/ E.II(B)/ 64 dated 27.11.1965, as amended/ modified from time to time- Issuing general instruction to Circles -Reg.

Sir/Madam,

This is regarding proposal for initial grant I Continued House Rent Allowance to staff working in offices situated in village /Gram Panchayat within a 08 KM from the periphery of the municipal limit of qualified city under Rule 03 b (iii) HRA General Rules and orders.

2 It has been noticed while examining the above proposals that proposal are being received in Directorate with abnormal delay from the Circle offices. The delay in submission of proposals are being viewed seriously. The Circle should ensure that the proposal are submitted well in advance.

3. The Circles are further requested to follow the following guidelines while submitting the proposals to the Directorate.
(a) Initial Grant of HRA

(i) The initial order for grant of HRA under para 3(b) (iii) of the OM. dated 27.11.1965 will continue to be issued by the Ministry of Finance (Department of Expenditure).

(ii) These issues should be examined at the time of opening of office and submit proposals within 03 months of opening of Offices , which qualify the condition for grant of higher HRA.

(iii) These proposals should be examined as per instructions issued from time to time and submit proposal in the prescribed check list through Circle Office along with the concurrence of CIFA.

(iv) The original dependency certificate issued by the collector/Dy. Commissioner having the jurisdiction over the place should be submitted with the proposal.
(b) Continued grant of HRA

(i) The further extension of grant of continued HRA for next 03 years will be issued by the Directorate in the consultation with Financial adviser as per MF OM No 11023/3/86-E.II (B) dated 01. December, 1989.

(ii) There is no need for submission of income and cost statement of the concerned offices along with the proposal. Only the original dependency certificate issued by the collector/ Dy Commissioner having the jurisdiction over the place, to be submitted with the prescribed check list by Divisional office to concerned Regional/ Circle office.

(iii) These proposals should be examined as per instructions issued from time to time and submit proposal in the prescribed check list through Circle Office along with the concurrence of CIFA.

(iv) The proposal for continued grant of HRA should be submitted at least 03 months before the ending of current period of continued HRA granted by the Directorate.

(v) A monitoring mechanization to be made in the Division office/ Regional and Circle office so that such proposals should be monitored on periodically, prepare and submit proposals to Directorate within a prescribed time. The proposals received after prescribed time will not be proceeded in the Directorate.
(c) Place or places agglomeration of classified city

Attention is invited on para 3 (a) of HRA General Rules and these orders may be followed. There is no need for further extension of continued HRA for the area of Gram Panchayat that has been included in the Municipality I Corporation UA and applicable rate of qualified city is to be paid from the date of included from the limit of the named qualified city.

4. The Circle are requested to launch a special drive in the matter during the month of April 2021. The Circle are further requested to prepare a list of all such cases to submit it to this Directorate by 30.04.2021 and review the present cases and process/ submit the proposal as per above guidelines to Directorate so that the further orders may be issued by the concerned offices in time.

These instructions should be followed strictly.
