Will the HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) the details of claims submitted under Insurance Scheme for Health Workers fighting COVID19 till December, 2020, State-wise;
(b) the details of claims approved till December, 2020, and amount disbursed, State-wise;
(c) whether there is any claim pending for disbursement; and
(d) if so, the details thereof, State-wise, and the reasons for delay and by when they are likely to be settled?

(a) to (d) Under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package: Insurance Scheme for Health Workers fighting COVID 19, the details of complete claims submitted, claims approved, amount disbursed and pending claims, State/UT-wise, till December, 2020, are placed at Annexure.
Position of pending claims is dynamic and, as such, keeping in view the different reasons for delay given hereunder, the probable date of settlement of the claims cannot be predicted.
Some of the reasons for delay are :-
(1) Family member under quarantine
(2) Family in mourning due to death in the family
(3) Lack clarity on the name of Nominee
(4) Nominee Certificate pending
(5) Legal heir certificate pending
(6) PAN card details pending
(7) Bank Account details pending
