 HRA Increases 3% if DA reached 25% || DoE dated 07 July 2017

DA Cross 25% After Union Cabinet approved the release of the freezed DA Know How It Effect Your HRA
Today the Union Cabinet approved the release of the freezed DA from January 2020 and will applicable from July 2021.
Hence the new DA will be,
Old DA -17% +
4% of January 2020 +
4% of July 2020 +
3% of January 2021 =28% DA
No arrears for the period from Jan 2020-Jul 2021 ☹️

 As DA Crossed 25%, HRA Will Also Change From

🏠 Z Class City : 8 - 9%

🏡 Y Class City : 16 - 18%

🏘️ X Class City : 24 - 27%

👉 The rates of HRA will not be less than Rs.5400/-, 3600/- & 1800/- at X, Y & Z class cities respectively.

👉 The rates of HRA will be revised to 27% 18% & 9% for X, Y & Z class cities respectively when Deamess Allowance (DA) crosses 25%

Further revised to 30%, 20% & 10% when DA crosses 50%

The list of cities classified as 'X', 'Y' and 'Z vide DoE's O.M. No.2/5/2014-E.II(B) dated 21.07.2015, for the purpose of grant of House Rent Allowance is enclosed as Annexure to these orders.
