Sir,
Sub: Request to activate the provision in the POSB software to exempt the Postal Employees and Postal Pensioners / Family Pensioners from paying additional charges of ATM etc – regarding.
Ref: The OM of DoP (FS Division) F.No.CBS-25/95/2021-FS-DOP dated 15.09.2021
The CHQ of All India Postal & RMS Pensioners Association would like to draw your kind attention to the above referred OM of the Department of Posts to hike the charges of various transactions through ATM outlets and to seek reconsideration for Postal Pensioners and Employees using the ATMs.
The Postal Employees and the Postal Pensioners / Postal Family Pensioners are encouraged to use the ATMs in order to reduce the crowds in the POSB Counters across the country. But the recent hikes on charges of ATM usage and also some other charges like Debit Card replacement, SMS alert charges etc should be exempted to the employees and pensioners / family pensioners of the India Posts. It is not very difficult to provide exemption to the above sections by simply activating the available provision in the POSB software as like many branches of banks in the country.
This CHQ requests the DoP to reconsider its stand of charging from all including the staff and pensioners of the Postal Department. We shall be highly grateful for exempting us from application of the recently hiked charges.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Sd/-
(K.Ragavendran)
General Secretary
