 Union Cabinet is expected to make DA Announcement any day by next week

 Economic Affairs headed by Prime Minister is expected to make DA announcement any day by next week before the second part budget session of parliament

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs headed by Prime Minister shall meet time to time to decide over important economical affairs of our Country. One of such decision to be expected by central government employees from Union cabinet is to make announcement of releasing additional instalment of DA from January and July of every year.

DA announcement before second part of Budget session of Parliament

The first part of the budget session was held from January 31 to February 11 and the second part will take place from March 14 to April 8, 2022. Hence it is expected that Central government may announce DA hike before the start of second part of Budget Session of Parliament.

Union Cabinet Decision over January 2022 DA enhancement

As per the approved formula for calculation of rate of Dearness Allowance, the DA shall be enhanced by 3% from 31% to 34% with effect from 1.1.2022. Hence the Union Cabinet is expected to give its approval for DA enhancement proposal in the month of March as it was done before.
