PA / SA Recruitment Rules 2022 - Highlights
* The much awaited Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant Recruitment Rules has been published in the Gazette 17.06.2022. The rules published in the Gazette contain the same features as stated in the Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant Recruitment Draft Rules 2021. *
* Out of the total Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant vacancies, 50 per cent vacancies for promotion have been reduced to 40 per cent. *
* The following employees are eligible for 40% postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant vacancies for promotion. *
* Those who have completed three years of service in Level-3 i.e. January 1st of the year for vacancies in the Postmaster Cadre. *
* 2.Level-3 ie those in postmaster character who have already worked in level-1, Level-2 and have completed five years of work including that. *
* 3.level-1, Level-2 i.e. those who have completed five years of service on the first day of the year for MDS Catering vacancies. *
* Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant vacancies will be filled at the state level on the basis of preference given by qualified staff to those who score on the basis of rank at the state level. So the choice for divisional level vacancies will no longer exist. *
* Vacancies not filled in the above manner will be filled by the following staff. *
* 1.Level-1, Level-2, Level-3 who are currently Postmaster and MTS who have completed eight years of vacancy per year including GDS service period. *
* Vacancies will be filled at the state level on the basis of preference given by qualified staff to those who score on the basis of rank at the state level. *
* Vacancies not filled in the above manner will be filled by the following staff. *
* 2.GDS employees who have completed eight years of service on January 1 of the year for vacancies. *
* 3. GDS employees who have completed five years of service up to 17.06.2022, published in the Gazette. *
* Vacancies will be filled at the state level on the basis of preference given by qualified staff to those who score on the basis of rank at the state level. *
* Vacancies not filled in the above manner will be added to next year's Direct Recruitment Open Market vacancies. *
* Candidates for promotion examination are not of age and educational qualification. *
* Age eligibility for GDS staff: - *
The vacancies for the UR category up to the age of 40, other backward classes up to the age of 43 and the list and tribal category up to the age of 45 can be written on January 1 of the year.
* Educational Qualification for GDS Employees: - *
1. Must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution or university.
2. Must have computer working knowledge.
