Subject: Deployment of RICT devices and roll out of DARPAN app in Branch Post Offices under IT 2.0-reg.

This is regarding deployment of RICT device and roll out of unified DARPAN app in all BOS under IT 2.0.

2. As Circles are aware, the existing RH & RSI contract are coming to end on 30.09.2023. Therefore, all BOS have to be migrated to IT 2.0 by 30.09.2023.

3.In view of above, it is directed that the BO, in which migration to the unified DARPAN app is scheduled on a particular day, will remain closed on the day prior to the migration day. This activity is necessary to migrate data from the existing system to new system. For eg., a BO "X", scheduled for migration on 27.09.2023, will remain closed on 26.09.2023 for data migration activities.

4.Accordingly, Circles are requested to ensure the following:

(i) the data in respect of each BO is updated on DARPAN portal, as conveyed earlier vide (a) RB Division letter dated 24.07.2023 and (b) email dated 08.08.2023 enclosing the SOP on DARPAN user management portal prepared by CEPT.

(ii) the BO, in which migration to the unified DARPAN app is scheduled on a particular day, will remain closed on the day prior to the migration day.

5.This issues with approval of the Competent Authority.
