Respected Sir/Ma'am, The Meeting & Family Get-Together is scheduled to be held on Saturday the 22nd February 2025 at Neilkanth Hall BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, 2R34+ 944, Mumbai-Agra Road, Near Dental College, Kevdivan, Panchavati, Nashik 422003 at 16.0 hrs (4.0.p.m.) with HI Tea with snacks under the Chairmanship of Shri Vijay Khanna, Ex Postmaster General Mumbai Region, Mumbai GPO 400001 followed by the various group activities by the participants and concluded with vegetarian Buffet Dinner at the venue at 21.0 (9.0 p.m.) There will be site seeing on Sunday the 23/02/2025 upto evening. My earnest appeal to all the members who are in good health to attend the meeting & family get-together with their family members. It is also requested to the members to approach all Retired Gazetted Officer friends to attend in large numbers and not to miss this golden opportunity to continue your camaraderie with your long-time friends. The individual contribution calculated is as under Meeting @ Rs 500/- per person which includes the hall charges, Hi tea with snacks, Photographer charges and Vegetarian Dinner with Puran poli with desi ghee. Lunch on Saturday 22/02/2025 @ Rs 120/-per person (optional) Accommodation is @ Rs 750/- per person. Additional bed is @ Rs 250/- Thus, the total contribution is Rs 500/- + Rs 120/+ Rs 750/- =Rs 1370/- per person which is to be paid in advance. The conditions for refund of the advance are already intimated.The site seeing places and the cost is being worked out and will be intimated in due course. The contribution towards site seeing will be collected at the venue on 22/02/2025. The account numbers to which this amount is to be credited or remitted are already circulated. The Nashik team have assured to make this a memorable event to cherish. The itinerary is as under: - Arrival at Nashik in the morning/afternoon of Saturday the 22nd February 2025, Site seeing Lunch, Site seeing, Return to the venue of meeting, hi tea, meeting Dinner, halt. December 2023 CPI-IW Released: All-India Index Declines to 138.8

The Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (CPI-IW) for December 2023 has been released by the Labour Bureau. The All-India CPI-IW decreased by 0.3 points, reaching 138.8. This decline is attributed to a 0.22% decrease in the one-month percentage change compared to the previous month and a 0.15% decrease compared to the same month last year.

The major contributing factor to the decrease was the Food & Beverages group, which accounted for a 0.45 percentage point reduction. Items such as Rice, Poultry/Chicken, Mustard Oil, and various vegetables were responsible for the decline, countered by the positive impact from items like Wheat, Buffalo Milk, and other goods.

At the center level, Coimbatore saw the maximum decrease of 4.7 points, while Solapur recorded the highest increase of 1.5 points. Year-on-year inflation for December stood at 4.91%, with Food inflation at 8.18%. The group-wise CPI-IW for November 2023 and December 2023 shows fluctuations in different categories, with the General Index declining from 139.1 to 138.8.

The next CPI-IW report for January 2024 is scheduled for release on February 29, 2024, and will be available on the official website www.labourbureau.gov.in.
