Subject: Selection of Sub Post Offices functioning in rented buildings from each Postal Division for improving look & feel - reg.
Madam/Sir,

I am directed to refer to Estates Division's communication dated 30.08.2024 on the subject mentioned above vide which nomination of post offices functioning from rented buildings were sought for their upgradation to Project Arrow standards. Based on nomination received from circles, 1000 post offices have been selected for upgradation during the current FY 2024-25 as a Pilot Project. Detailed guidelines for execution of the upgradation work are enclosed herewith for information and necessary action.
2. Fund @ Rs.2 lakhs per post office has been allotted for the said upgradation work under the Building Maintenance (Non-Scheme) with Head of Account 3201.05.053.01.01.27. Allotment sheet to the circles in this regard is enclosed for further necessary action.

3. It is requested to adhere to the guidelines attached herewith and commence the work of upgradation of the selected post offices in your circle immediately, and get it completed before due time, i.e. 28.02.2024.
4. Budget Division is requested to release the fund immediately to the circles as per the allotment sheet attached herewith.

5. This has the approval of Secretary (Posts).
