Madam/Sir.

I am directed to refer to this office letters of even number dated 15.05.2024 and 27.06.2024 on the subject cited above in connection with CRC to be convened by the Circles for the vacancy year 2023.

2. As regards, fresh applications being received online, matter has been reviewed in this office in light of references received from the field units and it has been decided to provide a window for modifications for the Bonafide mistakes committed by the applicants while filling in the applications. Hence, necessary provisions for making modifications in respect of all the fields in the fresh applications are being developed by the CEPT. Once, the said provision is enabled, modifications in the applications can be made by the Circle based on the requests received from the applicants and after due scrutiny and approval of HoC.

3. Furthermore, the cases referred to next CRC, by the CRC for the vacancy year 2022, shall also be considered by the vacancy year 2023. As you would be aware, applications for the vacancy year 2023 have been obtained through the online portal and preference of posts/cadres by the applicants have been introduced which were not there in earlier applications being obtained manually. CEPT would be enabling provisions for capturing preferences of posts/cadres in respect of such applications, which would be shared with the Circles shortly

3.1 It is, therefore, requested to arrange to obtain preference of posts/cadres from the applicants and get it captured through the web page/link to be shared by CEPT. Once, the desired information is captured, referred to next CRC cases would be migrated to the live server along with the fresh cases to be considered for the vacancy year 2023.

4. It is worthwhile to mention that a dedicated email ID deptl.cept@indiapost.gov.in has been created by the CEPT and for any technical support, Circle SPOC is required to approach CEPT.

5. The above exercise may please be accorded Top Priority and CRC for the vacancy year 2023 be arranged and be convened accordingly at the earliest. This shall be applicable for the cases being considered for the vacancy year 2023 only.

6. This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
